Gretel Von Dackel Hartman-Yates - April 2007, 13 years, 7
months young
Our beloved Gretel. Almost 14 years of memories
with you, dear. This home will seem empty without you. You
lived out your life in this house and may each area always
share your memory. Your daughters, Tinka, Heidi, and Biti, miss
thier momma. Your sons, Fritz and Hans, as well, and our
adopted girl, Abby-Gal also misses her housemate. You were
loved from the minute I picked you out for Daddy Kenn with a
litter name of Cocoa. Never saw a wirehaired dachie before and
now we owned one. (Possibly the other way round eh?) A
beautiful one for sure. You always obeyed and were a true lady,
delivering two litters of puppies in your lifetime and raising
five to maturity, with one passing with each delivery, one boy
and one girl. Now may they, too, come home to thier momma.
Memories, too many to mention but know this our little love.
God blessed us deep with you and we love you forever and
appreciate the sharing of your life and allowing us both to be
your daddies, for your earthly journey. Go play and rest now
sweetheart. Find Sadie Red Dapple Lady and Katie and tell them
their daddies hearts are sore but one day will be no more. You
were always a strong lass, making it through back surgery at 8
1/2 years old and living post operatively in great health after
a long healing process with a lot of people's support for five
more years. We will cherish that always. We ask our Heavenly
Father to now cradle you in His arms till we can once more and
then at that time death can not take you from us
anymore.
OXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXOXO FOREVER GRETEL. A
miniature wild-boar coated, wirehaired dachshund. May you now
soar on God's breath and have no more earthly pain. We will
deeply miss you, Momma Gretel.
Love, Daddies Kenn and Den, Momma Dot and Charlotte Seliger
and family and Zuzana Hebka' and family, your exchange human
being sisters from Germany and Czech Republic. You touched a
lot of lives and will never be forgotten our little four-legged
daughter

Sofous Hundeberg
Norgaard - April 2007, 6 years, 1 month old
Soufus Hundeberg Norgaard - our beloved
companion for six years in which we enjoyed your lively way
of being the King of The Lion Hill and defending us against
cats, mailmen and newspaper boys. We hope that your old
friend and teacher on how to dig the garden, Fie, the old
dachshund of Lillian and Jens, is with you now.
All the best to you - do wag your tail and jump for us in
Dogs' Heaven.

Bud,
our handsome little guy - April 2007, 11 years, 10 months old
Bud, our 'handsome little guy', will always be
in our hearts. He's only been gone for a few days and the
loss is overwhelming. He was with us for almost 12 years and
will be missed terribly. His little sister, Wiser, is also
grieving. He was so loving and happy and always ready for a
belly rub. His love was unconditional and unquestioned. We
are trying desperately to take comfort in the fact that he is
now at Rainbow Ridge and frolicking with all of his 'new'
friends and that we will all be together again one day. Bud,
you will always be in our hearts and we love you very much!
Be happy!
Love,
Mommmy, Daddy and Wiser

Macintosh 'Mac' James - April 2007, 11 years, 9 months old
Mac was our rescue dachshund and he lived every day at double speed. He loved his mommy, his daddy, his fur sister Becot, and coffee! He was our 'bad' boy, but we loved him. Mac died at home sitting next to me on the couch. He is gone, but I know he is at the Bridge waiting for us to join him. Rest in peace, little Mac (2/15/96 - 4/9/07); we miss you every day!
